Neo-Ultramontanists: The Roman Pontiff is the Master of the Depositum Fidei

Neo-Ultramontanists affirm that to be a faithful Catholic a man must believe the doctrine and morals taught, and obey the laws promulgated by the Roman Pontiff in all circumstances. Ultra-papalists also believe that the apparent and current occupant of the Chair of Saint Peter has the authority to change the content of the Catholic Faith, and to establish new doctrines, moral codes and universally binding laws which are contradictory to the doctrine, morals and universally binding laws of previous Roman Pontiffs.
