Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn:

Making It Sooner: The Instacarting Dilemma

Dear Friends,

In order to fulfill a personal promise, we launched the initial, private placeholder page for the "In the Same Sense" website on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. Having now been cast out into the deep, we are confronted with the horns of what could be called our "Instacarting Dilemma":

Horn 1: Quickly publish the website.
Horn 2: My family's well-being.

Putting it simply, we can curtail our "Instacarting" activity, publish updates to the website frequently, and put our family's well-being at risk. Or we can squeeze our work on the website into the severely limited hours that we have left after "Instacarting" 12 hours each day, and publish updates slowly and inconsistently as we are able. Surprise, surprise! We have opted for our family's well-being.

However, since some of you may like to see the "In the Same Sense" website get published in a more timely fashion, we have made it possible for you to help to make this happen. (See the PayPal buttons) To give concrete guidance as you consider giving (non-tax deductible at the moment), we offer the following for your consideration:

A gift of $300.00 will allow me to take 1 day off from my Instacarting schedule and dedicate those hours to research, writing and publishing updates to the website. Similarly, a gift of $750.00 will permit me to dedicate half of any given week to the development of content for the "In the Same Sense" website, etc.

  • Day Gift — $300.00
  • Half-Week Gift — $750.00
  • Week Gift — $1,500.00
If you would like to cover the cost of incorporating "In the Same Sense" as a non-profit (which may have a salutary impact upon the readiness of others to contribute to this effort), please email us and ask for further details.

In Jesus through Mary always,
